I am happy to announce that ProMods 1.9 is released.
For Italy this means not that much but I've added, with help of the team, the city of Bologna and a new road, the A13 between Venezia and Bologna.
Another thing mentioned here at this place was the brennerautobahn project. This is in the pack too.

Guess what will be drivable soon
As you guys might have seen on the promods site there are some issues with the conversion progress. Even I can't give you a release date of the new version of promods. But there's something else I can tell you. A few montha ago we ended a progress which will add an area to promods. Some roads already existed but needed to be improved a lot to be added in ProMods.
The area I'm talking about is one of those area's you guys know very well but haven't driven that much the past time. Of course I'm talking about Italy. One of the problems was the new road added by SCS, luckily everything could be fitted flawlessly. Another thing was the signs and the fonts. Back in the time I made seperate mod packs I made all the assets myself, now we have added some new assets to make the roads more in Promods-style.
I hope to be able to announce soon that the area is open again, but first we need to solve other issues. To follow the latest news you can go to the promods website: promods.net or to that facebookpage.

Latest updates
Hello dear community. Due to some busyness at ProMods I did not post that much here, so I was thinking to post something here again.
As you may know the Italy mod doesn't work on 1.12 because it will be integrated in ProMods some day. So if you want to play the Italy map please have some patience, we're working hard to lift it up to the ProMods detail level. Since the Italy mod is part of ProMods there are much more models available to use, much more as I used to have in my own mod. To name a few examples I have now acces to much more traffic signs as before, we developed a modular signing system to name a few things.
Since it has been a few months ago that I posted some images here I'll post a few views of the Italy map as you already knew it, but now with the improvements we made.

Open beta, compatibility modpacks M95-mods
As you might have noticed SCS has thrown the 1.11 open beta live. All the modpacks released under the name M95-mods will not be conmpatible anymore as announced. The modpacks from M95-mods (Italy and Austria) are becoming part of promods in the future. If you've read the news on the promods-site you might have seen that Austria is getting shape.
I would like to thank you all for your support on the forum and website for my mods and hopefully you will enjoy the newer parts when they are included in promods (but that will take a while I think, don't know how long).

Some good and bad news
Hello dear followers, It has been a time ago when I posted something, well that´s because very much things are changed now. At first I´m going to bring you the bad news, all the map mods on this website will not be compatible with version 1.11.
This has a reason so please don´t think I´m lazy. In fact things are getting better and better because of the following, I had some contact with the ProMods team for a very long time. To make a long story very short, I cooperated with ProMods, so that means less updates than I used to do but when there´s an update there should be more stuff available.
And don´t think I did not worked on the map, instead. One side of Innsbruck is nearly done, but here is much work to do unfortunately. Which also needs to be done is the other side of Innsbruck and a rebuild of the A13 and creating the Stubaital, if there´s enough space.
Now, it´s time for some images around Innsbruck:

Innsbruck slowly gets its new shapes
After a few days of hard working things are going to look better and better around Innsbruck. Remember the first images, when only the roads were laid. Now I've unfolded the landscapes besides the road and it is going to look better and better. To compare the A13 in the mod with the A13 in real live I searched a good picture of it (yes, Austria has no google maps unfortunately but people took so many photo's on the A13, so that can be used instead).
The background might be slightly different than the reality but this has everything to deal with the scaling of SCS and the already existing parts of this area.
Please don't think after this that the project is ready. After this part the A12 needs to get new intersections both to Innsbruck and the other side of the A13. The whole A13 also needs to be rebuilt towards Italy (existing one was too short in my opinion), I'm going to try to add the Europabrücke and an exit to the Stubaital, where tree-et will be located in future. "Try" means in this case, no warranty. If there's not enough space I need to think about something else.

Images from Innsbruck
At this moment I've started to do some modificationa around Innsbruck, well, some is not the right word I think. The whole highway-network will be changed and the city will get customised exits, that means that the WHOLE A12 in Austria has custom exits. (Feldkirch is the A14 and will not be modified within a short term).
To make space for this it was neccesary to remove the company of thee-et. But don't be sad. When there's space this will be located somewhere else in the Innsbrucker land, somewhere in the mountains. (I hope there's space to create a typical Austrian road uphill).
The images are just rough WIP images, but it is to give you an impression of what is going to happen. The image is the section which is going to be the new A12/A13 crossing. (Click the image to enlarge).
For the Italy fans is also news, when Austria is finished I will start to build Bologna and the A14 southwards, the A13 northwards from there (to Padova). Only interruption of that project will be the reconnection to the new SCS roads (to keep the map compatible in a good way this is very important).
